Welcome to the Machine
This web page contains links to the presentations, activities, and additional files used during the first year ‘Welcome to the Machine’ workshop on Monday 30th September and Tuesday 1st October. We’ll start at 10:00am on Monday, and at 10:30am on Tuesday.
We’ll be using both the School’s Virtual Linux Desktop and the Windows machines. If you are running off your own laptop, you probably want to install the VMWare Horizon Client so that you can access the Virtual Linux Desktop, this can be found by following the link above. In addition, you’ll also find it useful to install Citrix Workspace,so that you can connect to the Windows Virtual Desktops as well.
