Nottingham Sprint Regatta

Saturday 16th June 2001

The regatta is held on the River Trent in Nottingham, probably the best stretch of river for rowing in the UK. Nottingham Boat Club is sited next to Trent Bridge, only a couple of miles upstream from the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont.

Nottingham Sprint is on the same weekend as Loughborough & National Veterans on the Sunday at Holme Pierrepont -- come and make a weekend of it.

• 750m straight buoyed course through Trent Brdige
• Downstream on the River Trent by Trent Bridge
• Side by side racing, with stake boat start and partially buoyed course
• All events catered for
• £5 per seat (excluding coxswains) paid by Wednesday 13th June, or £6 on the day (price to be confirmed)
• Engraved pint pewter tankards to winners
• Food and refreshments available at the Boat Club
• Party and barbecue after racing on Saturday evening
