In 2003, the senior men's and women's squads had successful and enjoyable training camps in Chateau Gontier, France, and Chester.
Junior Rowing |
Juniors are welcome to try rowing and sculling either as individuals, or with their schools (if participating), through the Nottingham Schools' Rowing Association (NSRA). This organisation is run jointly by the three clubs on Trentside (Nottingham Boat Club, Nottingham Britannia Rowing Club, and Nottingham and Union Rowing Club).
NSRA runs sessions at Holme Pierrepont or at Nottingham Boat Club on Trentside (next to Trent Bridge) on Thursdays and at weekends, at a cost of £1 per session.
