Travel Directions

View a map for further details of the location.

From Nottingham City Centre

Follow signs for Trent Bridge, taking you along London Road, heading south. When you reach Trent Bridge, cross the bridge and then turn immediately left before the South Bank bar down Trentside. Nottingham Boat Club is the second building on the right, with the blue doors and NBC crest on the gable.

From the East, A1, A52 (east), Holme Pierrepont

Follow the A52 west towards Nottingham. On reaching the roundabout near the turn-off to Holme Pierrepont, take the A6011 (Radcliffe Road) towards Nottingham and Trent Bridge (straight on) instead of following the A52 ring road. Keep on Radcliffe Road, staying in the lane for Trent Bridge. You will then pass the Trent Bridge cricket ground on your left and reach a set of traffic lights next to the Trent Bridge Inn. Keep in the left-hand lane here and turn right at the lights. This will take you over Trent Bridge. (If you are on a bicycle or walking, cross at the lights, walk up to the bridge, and turn right down Trentside.)

Double back! You cannot turn right into Trentside, so need to cross Trent Bridge and double back. To do this, cross Trent Bridge and move into the left-hand lane which will bear off to the Meadows area. Then keep in that lane, which becomes the right-hand lane and turn right at the lights after about one hundred yards. This will take you back across Trent Bridge, whereupon you turn immediately left into Trentside.

From the South, M1 (south), the West, A42/M42

From the M1, turn off at J24 onto the A453 Nottingham.

From the A42, join the M1 then turn off after about a mile at J24 and take the A453 Nottingham.

Continue along the A453 for about 7 miles. You will pass through Clifton and past the Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus on your left. You will then reach a large junction with traffic lights. Go straight on here and then after a few hundred yards turn left before the flyover onto the B679 West Bridgford. Turn left at the roundabout and follow Wilford Lane towards West Bridgford. After about a mile you reach the end of Wilford Lane and should turn left at the traffic lights. This will take you straight across Trent Bridge. Follow the instructions above for doubling back across the bridge to turn into Trentside.

From the North, M1 (north)

From the M1, turn off at J26 and take the A610 south/east towards Nottingham.

Continue along the A610 for a few miles, becoming Nuthall Road, then Alfreton Road. Continue straight on at junctions until going down a steep hill into Nottingham city centre. You then bear off right to a large roundabout and go straight across and down Maid Marian Way, following signs for Trent Bridge. This will take you along London Road. Then follow directions above for `From Nottingham City Centre'.
